Follow these easy steps to get your AEG FAVORIT 44060 VIL Dishwasher up and running in no time.

1. Check for Transport Damage

Inspect your dishwasher for any transport damage. Do not connect a damaged machine. If your dishwasher is damaged, contact your supplier.

2. Position the Dishwasher

Remove all packaging and position the dishwasher under a kitchen counter or work surface. Ensure the appliance is close to a water tap and drain.

3. Level the Dishwasher

Use the adjustable feet to ensure the dishwasher is level for correct closure and sealing of the door. Adjust until the door does not catch on either side of the cabinet.

4. Water Supply Connection

Ensure the water inlet hose and drain hose are not kinked or squashed. Connect the water supply according to the installation instructions.

5. Electrical Connection

Ensure the electrical connection complies with the installation instructions. Insert the mains plug into a wall socket, ensuring the supply cable is not trapped.

6. Set the Water Softener

Before using the dishwasher for the first time, set the water softener according to the manual instructions.

7. Fill Salt Container

Pour 1 litre of water inside the salt container and then fill with dishwasher salt. This is necessary for optimal performance.

8. Filling with Rinse Aid

Fill the rinse aid dispenser to improve drying results and prevent water spots on dishes.

9. Test Run

Run a test cycle without any dishes using a small amount of detergent to ensure everything is functioning correctly.
